Social FACT is a Christian NGO that has
roots in the 3 states of India, expressing solidarity with the non-privileged for holistic development.

It is a legal entity, H.Q in Siliguri, W.B, India. We operate in the eleven districts of Bihar, seven in West Bengal and two in Orissa.

Charity or free giving is limited from Social FACT but we empower and enable individuals or local societies to get out of darkness, illiteracy and

exploitation which leads to prosperity. Once they are aware of their rights and a life with dignity, we assist them to go economically self reliant.

We channel the education of their children, create hope and teach the good habits and social responsibility. We help them to attain a hygienic living standard with medical assistance, even to the extent of providing safe drinking water and setting up small kitchen gardens to fight malnutrition in women and children.

In the simplest form, this is what we do. Technically, we have our paradigms to make things happen in the remote pockets of undiscovered India. There's a committed and qualified team who have sufficient patience to cross over the hurdles.

We work at defined project areas with the support of local people. It's true, we have oppositions from several ends. Sometimes its low resources or poor infrastructure. Many a times it's nature, in the form of flood, draught or the wind that isolate us from the rest of the world. Occasionally it is the insurgency or the exploiting forces or the fundamentalists groups, who even burn down our institutions.

Social FACT is a team of eternal optimists. We keep on moving!
